The YWCA appreciates the generosity of the volunteers that take their time to make a difference to the lives of the women, girls and families we serve.

The following are options for involvement with the YWCA. Our goal is that volunteers will connect with our mission, eliminating racism, empowering women and have a meaningful experience. These areas include:

• Clerical support at the YWCA Levi Standish House
• Assisting in daily activities at Yw kids School Age Child Care
• Assisting in daily activities with Youth Services programs
• Facility maintenance
• Assisted facilitation of Racial Justice Curriculum
• Assisted facilitation of Women’s Economic Advancement Workshops
• Outreach on WAGE and Pay Equity
• Outreach with Wellness for Women and Girls
• Red Dress Fashion Show and Silent Auction Committee (for February)
• International Women’s Day Committee (for March 8th)
• Cape Verdean Recognition Day Parade Float Committee (for July)
• Sizzlin' Salsa Dance Party Committee (for September)
• Week Without Violence Committee (for October)
• Racial Justice Committee
• Membership Committee

The Levi Standish House is open from 9:00am-4:00pm Mon-Fri. The hours for volunteering at Yw kids vary depending on the time of year. Schedules for the committee meetings vary.
